Open-source work.

A short list of the things I have built and maintain in the open: an R package for generalizability theory, two free teaching sites built with Quarto, and ESI, an AI research assistant for MSc and doctoral students in organisational psychology. All four are released under open licences; please cite the teaching sites if you use them in your own teaching.

Written for the UEA MSc in Organisational Psychology; an R/lavaan port of Kevin Daniels' original Mplus materials.

ESI (opens in a new tab)michaelides.github.io

An AI research assistant for MSc and Doctoral students in organisational psychology. It helps you define a research question, develop hypotheses, design a methodology, and analyse uploaded documents or data, and it keeps a formal research specification alongside the conversation so you can see what you have pinned down so far. It runs on free open-weight models, and is a thinking partner rather than a substitute for supervision.
